Naam: Ajay Devgn's Long-Delayed Film With Anees Bazmee To Release In November After 10 Years

Naam was shot in 2014, but got delayed. The movie will finally hit the theatres on November 22, 2024

After Singham Again, Ajay Devgn is already set for the release of his next film, titled Naam, helmed by Aneex Bazmee. This marks the actor's fourth collaboration with the filmmaker, after the psychological thriller Deewangee, the romantic drama Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, and the action thriller Hulchul. However, what's interesting is that the film was shot in 2014, but got delayed due to the death of one of the producers of the movie, as per the press release issued by the makers. The movie will finally hit the theatres on November 22, 2024.

Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted the poster of the movie on X (formerly Twitter) handle with the caption, "AJAY DEVGN - ANEES BAZMEE: 'NAAM' TO RELEASE ON 22 NOV... ANNOUNCEMENT POSTER UNVEILS... Naam - starring Ajay Devgn and directed by Anees Bazmee - to release in *cinemas* on 22 Nov 2024... Worldwide release by PEN Marudhar. Produced by Anil Roongta [Roongta Entertainment] in association Snigdhaa Movies P Ltd."

While not much is known about the film, an India Today report states that Naam is a psychological thriller which was shot in Switzerland and Mumbai. The film's plot chronicles a man who sets on a journey to rediscover his identity after losing his memory.

Coming to the cast of the film, the same report by the publication mentions that initially Priyanka Chopra was supposed to do the film, but she quit and Sameera Reddy joined the cast. Naam also features Bhumika Chawla. Produced by Roöngta Entertainment and Snigdhaa Movies, the music for the Anees Bazmee directorial is composed by Himesh Reshammiya and Sajid Wajid.
