Mumbai: There were reports that Naseeruddin Shah and Randeep Hooda decided to boycott John Day on discovering its unoriginal content, but the former denies any such thing.
According to reports, parts of John Day have been taken from a Spanish film called Box 507.
"I was unaware of any similarity and I haven't seen that Spanish film," said Naseer and added: "I must find out about that film first. But how many original movies are made here in the first place?"
Naseer, known for his work in films like Arth, Masoom, and most recent Iqbal, says he doesn't work in plagiarized products.
"Not knowingly for sure. Unknowingly I may had." he added.
