Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah is said to have been so impressed with the script of Charlie Ke Chakkar Mein, involving a bunch of theatre actors, that he agreed to be part of it at a nominal price.
Debutant director Manish Srivastav was keen on casting Naseeruddin Shah in a lead role and had even written the script keeping him in mind. When he approached the actor, he was humbled and decided to come on board for a very small amount, said a source.
He was even more delighted that majority of the a cast include theatre actors.
Produced by Karan Arora of High Ground Enterprises Ltd, the film is currently under production and is slated to release early next year.
