Natalie Portman plans break from movies post baby

Los Angeles: Actress Natalie Portman, whois expecting her first child with choreographer fianceBenjamin Millepied, is planning to take a break from Hollywoodafter the baby.

The 29-year-old star is a favourite to get an Oscarnomination for her performance as a troubled ballerina inDarren Aronfsky's film Black Swan, where she met Millepied.

But obviously, priorities have changed for the star,who recently announced her engagement with the choreographer.Portman plans to concentrate on being a mother to her child,People magazine reported.

"I'll be out of the public eye after the baby,adding that she will just take any future career opportunity"as it comes."

The actress does not want to know the sex of the babybefore the birth because she is "superstitious" about it. "I'm very superstitious. I'm very Jewish that way. Wedon't do that," she said.

Portman will next be seen opposite Ashton Kutcher inrom-com No Strings Attached.
