Navjot Singh Sidhu will soon be seen in a comedy show on TV

Former Indian cricketer NavjotSingh Sidhu, who will soon be seen in a comedy show ontelevision, says he will only do family oriented shows, as he does not promote double meaning jokes.
"For me the definition of comedy is to make peoplelaugh. I won't back or be part of something that is derogatoryin nature or not meant for family audience," said Sidhu.
After an eventful ouster from Bigg Boss last yeardue to his political commitments, Sidhu has now bagged a newshow - Comedy Nights with Kapil.
The show will see Sidhu engaging in a funny banter with comedian KapilSharma.
"Comedy shows are stress busters. It's good to have ashow to make people laugh. Today people are busy in theirlives, they look for a dose of entertainment," he said.
Sherry, as he if popularly called, also put forth that he will only indulge in a healthy banter on the show and won't cross the line."I am against all this (double meaning jokes). It is afamily show," he said.
Sidhu insists that the format of this show is quitedifferent. "It is about a weird, bizarre family. This issomething I have not seen or done," he added.
