New Delhi: The festival of Navratri (literally meaning nine nights), which is dedicated to the worship of Goddess Durga, starts today on September 21. Navratri festivities are all over the Internet with celebrities like Anil Kapoor, Hema Malini and Shilpa Shetty posting about the festival on social media. The Bollywood stars have thanked Goddess Durga for showering her blessings upon them. Celebrating the onset of Navratri, actress Hema Malini shared a beautiful picture of Maa Durga, with her nine Navratri 'Prasads'. For the picture, the 68-year-old actress wrote: "Happy Navratri to all my friends here and all over the world!"

Actress Shilpa Shetty posted a picture of beautifully decorated puja thali on Instagram today with a heartfelt message that read: "Happy Navratri to everyone, may Mata Rani bless, protect and make us stronger. Have faith and the see her magic unfold."
