New Delhi:

There's no denying that we had missed seeing the stunning Neelam Kothari in action on screen for two decades. That was until she made a comeback, playing her own gorgeous self on the Netflix reality show, Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, and stole our hearts yet again. One cannot deny that Neelam was one of the most ravishing women in the film industry, stunning the audience with every film she featured in. But why are we feeling so nostalgic about her all of a sudden, you wonder? Well, it is all thanks to her latest throwback post on Instagram that we just cannot get over.

Neelam had us taking a walk down memory lane on a Sunday night with an Instagram post featuring her younger self with her mother in a beautiful, sepia picture. Her caption was beautifully sentimental too: “Found this lovely picture of mom n me.”

This picture is testimony to how beautiful Neelam was (and still is, of course). And now there is ample evidence that her beauty, poise, and grace are all a generational blessing. How can one not be stunned by Neelam's mother, Parveen Kothari, too? We also cannot help but obsess over how wonderfully retro their looks are — Neelam's fringes and bold floral print are the retro fashion inspiration we certainly needed.

We aren't the only ones obsessing over Neelam's throwback picture. Actress Sonali Bendre, as well as her friends and co-stars in Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, Maheep Kapoor and Bhavana Pandey, too, have expressed their love and adoration in the comments, with Bhavana saying, “So pretty.” We certainly agree.

This is not the first time Neelam has left us stunned with a throwback picture. Who can forget this beautiful monochrome picture that she posted of her younger self just a couple of months ago?

Also, have you seen this gorgeous throwback picture where we see her younger self setting the nation's heart racing?

Neelam made her debut with the film Jawaani in 1984. She is best known for her work in films such as Khudgarz, Gharana, Love 86, and Sindoor among others.
