She has also been sharing glimpses of her endeavours on social media. Now, the 61-year-old has given her fans a look at her exercise routine. She shared a video of herself practising yoga on Instagram and impressed her followers by pulling off a fairly complicated asana. In the video, the actress can be heard taking deep breaths, as is the norm while performing the asanas.
Poking fun at herself for the loud breathing noise, Neena wrote in the caption of the video, “Dhanurasan with too much noise,” followed by some laughing emoticons. The actress' fans did not seem to be perturbed by the noise and were all praise for her fitness. Reacting to the post, one user said, “This is great.” Another comment read, “Wow,” followed by heart emojis.

The Badhaai Ho actress has also turned author. She announced on Instagram that her autobiography Sach Kahun Toh would be available in June. In a video, she shared that she had decided to pen her story during the lockdown. Reacting to the development, actor Kabir Bedi congratulated her and said that he had pre-ordered the book. “Ordered! Congratulations, can't wait to read it. I'm sure you have fascinating stories to tell,” he wrote in the comments section. Neena Gupta's Badhaai Ho co-star, Gajraj Rao also shared his excitement and said, “Eagerly waiting, Neena ji.”
The actress recently saw the release of her film, Sardar Ka Grandson where she plays an ailing grandmother who wants to see her house in Pakistan one last time. She appeared in the movie alongside Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh. She was last seen on web shows, Masaba Masaba and PariWar.
