A still from Neerja.
New Delhi:
The second poster of Neerja, released on January 21, offers another glimpse of Sonam Kapoor's portrayal of slain stewardess Neerja Bhanot, a Pan Am attendant killed in a 1986 hijacking.
The poster depicts Sonam's character shielding a group of children, looking fearfully back at a hijacker's gun.
The first poster of the movie was released on Wednesday:
Neerja Bhanot, who was just 23 when she was killed, helped save hundreds of passengers and is the youngest person to receive the Ashoka Chakra.
Sonam told PTI in an interview: "I hope I have done justice to the film. I was stressed throughout, hoping that I have done the best job possible. I feel the reason why this film was made is to recognise that it doesn't matter who you are or where you come from. You have to be ordinary to do extra ordinary things and everybody has that in them. You need to have the courage to do things." (Also Read: Neerja Trailer: Sonam's Intense Performance Will Give You Goosebumps)
Directed by Ram Madhvani, Neerja opens on February 19.
