Actress Sonam Kapoor shared the first poster of her upcoming film Neerja on Twitter on Tuesday.
The poster shows Sonam as Pan Am flight attendant Neerja Bhanot, facing down a hijacker who holds a gun to her head.
She tweeted:
Neerja Bhanot, who saved many passengers, was killed in the 1986 hijacking of Pan Am Flight 73. (Also Read: Pilot's Daughter Pens an Emotional Letter to Neerja Makers )
Sonam told PTI in an earlier interview: "It is important that this story is told. It is about this girl, the youngest civilian who got Ashoka Chakra. She was a normal girl. Neerja is directed by Ram Madhvani and will release on February 19.
