Mumbai: Singer Neeti Mohan, best known for songs like Jiya re and Ishq wala love, said that she never thought of becoming a singer and it was her sisters - Shakti Mohan and Mukti Mohan -- who showed faith in her talent.

Neeti, who appears as a judge on the reality based show The Voice India Kids, got nostalgic about her journey when she saw Srishti Rawat, a contestant who hails from Delhi, singing Lata Mangeshkar's song Lag jaa gale.

"When I heard Srishti singing, I got emotional and I got reminded of myself. I had gone through a flashback and recalled my struggling days in the industry," Neeti said in a statement.

"I never thought that I will become a singer in my life. It was my family and my sisters, who had faith in me. It was my sisters' idea to enroll me in a reality show and they were the ones who stood in the queue for the auditions," added Neeti.

Apart from Neeti, The Voice India Kids also features singers Shekhar Ravjiani and Shaan as judges.
