Ariana Grande recently addressed all the rumours making the rounds of her playing Audrey Hepburn in the upcoming biopic of the British actress.
While Grande did not confirm whether the buzz is true, at the National Board of Review's Annual gala, she did confess to manifesting the role for herself.
She told Access Hollywood, "Oh my goodness, oh my goodness—I have no idea. That would have to be done so well and so perfectly, and it would have to be—I don't know."

The Internet was quick to react to her statement. Several people said that there are many other Hollywood actresses out there who would deliver a more convincing portrayal of Audrey Hepburn.
Some users also shared their opinion on who they would like to see play the iconic role.
One fan said, "And not her playing Audrey. Lily Collins is the only one," while another fan wrote, "Uh, Anne Hathaway > Ariana Grande. Hands down."
There was also a section of people who did support the possibility of Ariana Grande portraying Audrey Hepburn on the big screen.
One comment read, "They would be dumb not to cast her for all the publicity alone this would get."
On the work front, Ariana Grande received widespread acclaim for her performance as Glinda in the Disney musical Wicked: Part One, released on November 22, 2024.
She will return as Glinda in the sequel, titled Wicked: For Good, releasing on November 21, 2025.
She was last seen on the Golden Globes 2025 red carpet, wearing an archival Givenchy gown from 1966, in a pale yellow hue. Fun fact: It is also one of Glinda's (her Wicked character) favourite colour.
