Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali said that he has not worked with actors as good as Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.
Imtiaz has directed Ranbir and Deepika in Tamasha, which is scheduled to release on November 27. The trailer of the film was launched on September 22 in Mumbai, which was attended by producer Sajid Nadiawala and presenter Siddharth Roy Kapur apart from Ranbir, Deepika and Imtiaz.
Regarding his experience of working with Ranbir and Deepika, Imtiaz said: "It was really good. It's actually a learning experience for me when you work with good actors. I've worked with Ranbir and Deepika before. And for each scene, the way in which I envisioned the scene, it always turned out to be different than that. And it's different because of their talents. I'm convinced about the fact that I've never worked with actors as good as them."
Imtiaz's previous films Highway and Rockstar received critical as well as commercial success, and also won several awards. (Also Read: What Cinema Means For Imtiaz Ali)
"There is absolutely no pressure. You don't remember what the previous film was and how well it had worked. The only thing on your mind is that the producers get convinced and take you to Corsica. That's the kind of tension that you're stuck with. I don't worry about the previous films once they are over. It's always the excitement for the new one," added Imtiaz.
Tamasha reunites Ranbir and Deepika after 2013 hit film Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. Deepika has also worked with Imtiaz in Love Aaj Kal and Ranbir and Imtiaz last collaborated on Rockstar.
