Television actress Nia Sharma, who was last seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 8, was trolled incessantly for a wearing a blue lipstick to a Halloween party. Nia shared a picture on Instagram with the caption, "When someone asks me to go easy on my choice of lip colors," adding the hashtag, "subtle look." Soon, the feed was flooded with comments like, "Looked like you accidently swallowed ink pen," "It's not looking good," and "Looking so ugly. Don't try these, doesn't suits on you." Nia Sharma, 27, wore a white shirt dress and apart from the blue lipstick, she accentuated her look with golden trendy chain.

Later, she shared another picture, where her appearance was liked (sort of) by the Internet.
Months ago, Nia, who shared a video from one of her photoshoots, was tagged 'shameless and cheap' and was accused of being an 'attention seeker.' However, she did not bow down and posted another video, similar to the first one, and wrote,"Ready to slut-shame a girl again? Go aheadddddd.. I'll post five more...Coz thats exactly I got this shoot done.!! And that's exactly how I'll post pictures from the same!"
After quitting the famous TV show Jamai Raja, Nia starred in Vikram Bhatt's web-series Twisted. Of doing a different role, she told news agency PTI, "People find it difficult to fit actors in any role as they (actors) have done certain kind of parts on television and that is very degrading, demeaning and regressive. TV isn't a wide medium when it comes to boldness on the small screen because of the audience. It reaches out to the audience but keeping the traditions intact. The only medium where people are truly exploring themselves and going out to experiment is the digital space."
Nia Sharma has been part of shows like Kaali - Ek Agnipariksha, Behenein, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai and Comedy Nights Bachao.
