Los Angeles: Nick Cannon is seeing red over reports claiming that his wife Mariah Carey, celebrated with "drinks and drugs" after giving birth to twins recently.
The 30-year-old rapper is angry about tabloid reports, which led to an investigation from the Child Protective Services.
Speaking out on the CNN show 'Piers Morgan Tonight', Cannon said the incident began after a nurse told his wife about a traditional method of improving breast milk.
"It all started where a nurse suggested to my wife that if you drink Guinness or a small amount of Guinness, the dark beer, that the yeast improves breastfeeding," he said.
"Then they were saying that my wife was drinking beer and all that stuff. It's like people would do anything to conjure up a story," said Cannon.
When he spoke to the Child Protective Services explaining that the comment was clearly taken out of context, all was resolved.
"It is frustrating, but you got to have to understand this is something you have to deal with. It is sad that people have to go to those lengths," he added.
