Singer Nick Lachey has saidhe wants to start a family sometime soon despite fianceeVanessa Minnillo claiming to be in no hurry for it.
The 37-year-old star has said that he feels ready tobe a father. Minnillo recently claimed that the couplewere in no rush to start having children, reported Parademagazine.
"I'd like to be a dad sooner than later. I'm gettingup there," said the former boy band member.The singer said he has been feeling the pressurelately due to the fact that his brother Drew Lachey alreadyhas two children."
"I'm at a point in my life where I'm ready to startanother chapter. Having kids is a big part of that," saidLachey.
"Life is a journey and I'm certainly ready to closethis chapter and move on to the next," he added.The couple announced their engagement in November lastyear, though no official wedding date has been revealed, theysaid, the wedding will happen 'soon'.
