Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman, who lives in Nashville with her family, says that she does not miss "The Hollywood life" because she has never been interested in fame, reported Female First. (Also Read: The Story Behind the Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts Kiss That's Gone Viral)
The actress has never looked back since moved to Nashville with husband Keith Urban nine years ago. The Moulin Rouge! star, has two children, Faith, four and Sunday, seven with her husband.
"I don't miss the Hollywood life, definitely not. But I don't think I've ever been a part of that. I still put on a gown and go on the red carpet, and that's when you're all for a moment circling each other. I know all those people," she said.
"If you're committed to a fame path that's a whole different thing. But for me that's almost like the burden that comes with it. I don't say that complaining, but that's the part, that's work so I can do the thing I love," she added.
The Grace of Monaco star also confessed that she has not always felt like she "fitted in" in Hollywood as she considered herself to be "a bit of an outsider".
Earlier in an interview to Telegraph she had mentioned: "I don't know if I've ever felt I fit in. I've always danced to the beat of my own drum. I'm left-handed; I think laterally. A bit of an outsider is how I would describe myself," she said.
