London:
Actress Nicollette Sheridan has dismissed speculation that she will return to hit TV seriesDesperate Housewives for its grand finale.
The 47-year-old actress, who played sexy real estate dealer Edie Britt on the popular comedy drama, insisted that she is not bringing her character back from the dead.
"I had an amazing time playing that character. I loved her dearly, but they killed her. She's dead," she said.
Sheridan went on to file a multi-million dollar lawsuit against show creator Marc Cherry last year, accusing him of slapping her.
But Cherry sparked rumours that he was preparing to make amends with Sheridan over the weekend when he announced the upcoming season of the show would be its last.
"I don't know how I would do that, but I have an idea for the last episode in which I want to pay homage to everyone who's been on the show before. So, we'll see what happens with that," he said.
