Mumbai:
Director Nikhil Advani is keen to show Katti Batti to superstar Aamir Khan, who had appreciated the upcoming film's trailer on Twitter. Nikhil hopes to get some guidance towards the final stages of the film's release from the Pk star.
At the launch of a special promotion of the film, Nikhil told media, "I hope I will be able to show Aamir the film so that I can get some kind of guidance about how we have gone about it and and how we should complete it. I am glad that he has been involved in at least that much of Katti Batti."
The Nikhil Advani-directed film stars Aamir's nephew Imran Khan and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut.
At the time of the trailer's release, Aamir had expressed support and tweeted:
Nikhil will soon have back-to-back releases in September with Katti Batti releasing on September 18 and Hero featuring Suraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, releasing on September 4.
Other than that, Nikhil is also producing the action drama Airlift featuring Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur.
The Katti Batti director is also going to be a jury member at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne to be held on August 14 to August 27 this year.
"I have been a supporter of this festival right from its very inception. I love this year's theme of 'Equality'. The fact that they have supported and advocated to embrace the diversity that defines us all makes it even more special to me. I look forward to celebrating our cinema in Melbourne next month," said a delighted Nikhil.
