No arrests after fight at Katherine Jackson's home

New Delhi: Police were called to Katherine Jackson's home on July 23, 2012.

While the 82-year-old mother of late popstar Michael Jackson is in Arizona with her daughter Rebbie, her three children Janet, Randy and Jermaine, reportedly tried to remove Michael's kids - who Katherine Jackson has custody of - from her Los Angeles home.

LA Sheriff spokesman Steve Whitmore said: "Deputies determined that a physical altercation had occurred of misdemeanour battery. It involved members of the Jackson family. A report was taken. No arrests were made, and the investigation is ongoing."

Mr Whitmore confirmed that the altercation involved "two people," and although he did not specify which two, he added "if we thought an arrest should have been made, we would have made it."

Katherine Jackson's lawyer, Sandra L Ribera, issued a statement on July 24, 2012 saying, "Jackson family members ambushed Katherine Jackson's home after their vehicle tore through security gates on the tails of the SUV containing Michael Jackson's children."

This is the latest in a bizarre few days for the Jackson clan after Katherine Jackson was reported missing by her nephew Trent Jackson on July 21, 2012.

Her granddaughter Paris then tweeted about her missing grandmother.

However, Katherine Jackson was declared by police in Arizona to be safe and well at her daughter Rebbie's home and family members have claimed they are worried about Trent Jackson's influence on her.

A source told People magazine: "They don't feel Trent is holding the kids there against their will. They just want Trent away from Katherine. But when they went there to try and get the kids, it was a fight."
