Rocker Pete Doherty says he hasstopped injecting heroin after being motivated by his newgirlfriend.
The 32-year-old, who didn't reveal the identity of hisgirl, insists that if he wants the relationship to work he hasto tone down a bit, reported Contactmusic.
"I've stopped injecting. The only way I see myself in aserious relationship is if I am toning it down a bit. Iwouldn't let her touch anything, I just wouldn't," Dohertysaid.
The musician recently made headlines when South Africanmodel Lindi Hingston claimed that she had given birth to hisbaby six weeks ago.
"I'm really surprised she's done that (talked to anewspaper). The little girl was two months premature. I saidI'd try to be there for the birth. You know what, I don't wantto talk about that. Yeah, she's mine," he said.
