Los Angeles:
Hollywood actress Cate Blanchett has ruled out going under the surgeon's knife in future as she doesn't see the logic of looking younger than one's age.
The 'Elizabeth' star, who is widely regarded as one of the world's most naturally beautiful women, has no desire to get plastic surgery and is happy to look her age, InStyle magazine reported.
"There's so much pressure and fear to do all that surgery stuff but I'm really not interested in looking 25 again," said the 41-year-old star.
The Oscar-winning actress makes an extra effort to look natural and tries to wear as little make-up as she can.
"There's a temptation when you get older to put on more make-up, but I try to keep mine looking natural. Even on screen - if you've got heaps on, it acts as a mask and as an actor, it's all about taking off a mask and revealing emotion. A strong lip can really lift your face, though. Since I cut my hair, I've been wearing reds again and experimenting with pinks," she said.
Although she is happy with her looks, the mother-of-three recently cut off her hair to make it manageable.
"I just suddenly thought, 'Shall I cut it all off?' As an actress, you get brainwashed into thinking, 'I have to get roles!' But what about your everyday life?" Blanchett added.
