New Delhi:

Film veteran Anupam Kher hasn't watched Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer yet but he did chance upon a forwarded message - an AI rendition of his picture as Lewis Strauss - which was originally shared by the Instagram handle 'wild.trance.' Anupam Kher shared the picture on his profile and he wrote, "Haven't seen Oppenheimer as yet! But this came as a forward." Robert Downey Jr played Lewis Strauss in the film. The comments section of Anupam Kher's post looked something like this, "I was about to send you...as I came across...you fit the bill...Sirji." A curious user asked, "Who did that?" Another added, "Very nice." Some users gave their suggestions, "Irfan Khan as Oppenheimer and Amitabh Bachchan as Albert (Einstein)." Another user added, "If any actor try to convey his intention to collaborate with Nolan then it means he is artistically very rich and sound otherwise an ordinary actor can't even dare to think so..."

As mentioned above, Robert Downey Jr played the role of Admiral Lewis Strauss in Oppenheimer, featuring Cillian Murphy in the titular role. Admiral Lewis Strauss was the former chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission and had a pivotal role in influencing the clearance inquiry against J Robert Oppenheimer.

Oppenheimer is a biopic of Robert J Oppenheimer, the mind behind the world's first atomic bomb. The film features a cast that includes Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr, Florence Pugh, Kenneth Branagh and Rami Malek, among many others. It clashed with Greta Gerwig's Barbie at the box office.

The film opened to stellar reviews from film critics and has been equally adept at impressing the audience worldwide. In his review for NDTV, film critic Saibal Chatterjee gave the film 4.5 stars out of 5 and he wrote, "Oppenheimer, a cinematic achievement of blinding brilliance, achieves a sublime combination of visual grandeur, technical flair, emotional intimacy and an examination of the limits of human endeavour and ambition."
