Deepika occupies a loftier rung than Ranbir when it comes to all things social media.
New Delhi:
We imagine that the social media adept Deepika Padukone sniggered more than just a little as she posted a video of her Tamasha co-star Ranbir Kapoor fumbling his piece while directing fans to where they can find updates on the film.
Ranbir, who's not on Twitter or Facebook, did manage to reveal Tamasha's release date - November 27 - but stumbled over the rest.

Is his social media ignorance 'adorable,' as Deepika asks in this tweet?
Deepika occupies a loftier rung than Ranbir when it comes to all things social media. She uses her Twitter account to promote her films and her foundation to help people battling depression. Last year, she famously tangled with a leading national daily on social media after they tweeted photos of her with a caption calling attention to her cleavage.
Meanwhile, several pictures from the filming of Tamasha have been circulated on social media, most of them from the sets on the French island Corsica. (Also Read: Why Ranbir, Deepika's Tamasha Pics Made it to Social Media)
Deepika reportedly plays a fan of the comic book character Asterix, which explains Corsica, one of the locations where the adventures of Asterix, his friend Obelix and their dog Dogmatix is set.
Ranbir, who has not had a good year with back-to-back flop films Roy and Bombay Velvet, is banking heavily on Tamasha. He recently told news agency IANS: "Audience were not ready to see me in my last three films, so I am hoping that when promo and song of Tamasha will come, audience will like it." On the other hand, Deepika's golden spell at the box office continued with the success of Piku this year. After Tamasha, she is looking forward to the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani, which also stars Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra.
Tamasha is directed by Imtiaz Ali, who has previously worked with Ranbir in Rockstar and Deepika in Love Aaj Kal.
