No set formula to make a hit: Abhishek

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan who lately suffered a string of flops, is pinning high hopes on his forthcoming release Dum Maaro Dum and says that there is no formula for making a successful film in Bollywood.

"If there was such a formula in Bollywood, then all films would become hits," Abhishek, who was here to promote the movie, told reporters last evening.

He said the success or failure of his films did not depend on him alone.

"Otherwise also, if 2-3 of my films flop it does not mean that all my previous films also did not do well," said the actor.

The 35-year-old actor's last three films Raavan, Khele Hum Ji Jaan Se and Game did not do well and the box office.

He also said DMD had nothing to do with veteran DevAnand's 1971 film 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna'.

"The only relation my film has with 'Hare Rama HareKrishna' is that its title has been taken from the first linesof a hit song in Dev's film," he said.

Junior B said there was no intention to demean Goa in hisnew film, as alleged and added that he personally liked thesong filmed on Deepika Padukone.

He said in a country as vast as India, it was notnecessary that everyone see their films.

"Some people do not like your work. I respect allreactions to my films," he said.

To a query, Abhishek said that he did not have any plansto buy an IPL team and added that he was content watching IPLmatches.
