Another day, another update from Kartik Aaryan's Shehzada promotion diaries. Latest stop: Dubai. Oh, and, his latest update is all things relatable. Reason? It is a video featuring Kartik at a Turkish ice cream stall. FYI: Turkish ice cream is famous for the way it is presented. Well, for Kartik, it was no different. In the video, the actor, just like most of us, struggles to grab the ice cream cone. The vendor takes the ice cream right in front of him and suddenly pulls it away. Then there comes a moment when Kartik ends up biting a tissue paper. At last, Kartik gets his treat and he looks super happy about it. For the background music, Kartik has picked the song Chedkhaniyan from his upcoming film Shehzada. The caption read, “ Itni #Chedkhaniyan ki isne ki bhook hi mar gayi. [After this, I don't feel hunger.]” His hashtags read, “Dubai,” “Shehzada”, “Sugarfree”.
Shehzada, directed by Rohit Dhawan, will open to theatres on February 17. The film also stars Kriti Sanon. The film also stars Manisha Koirala, Ronit Roy, Sachin Khedekar and Paresh Rawal. Shehzada is the Hindi remake of the hit Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which starred Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde.
Shehzada's advance booking opened last week and Kartik Aaryan shared the update on Instagram with a new poster featuring himself and Kriti Sanon. Along with it, the actor wrote, “Baat Jab Shehzada ki ho toh Discussion nahin karte…Seedha Ticket Book Karte hain. Advance bookings are open now. Releasing next Friday.”
Shehzada also marks Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon's second film together. Earlier, they worked in Luka Chuppi. Kriti also made a cameo appearance in Kartik Aaryan's Pati Patni Aur Woh. After Shehzada, Kartik will be seen in Satya Prem Ki Katha alongside Kiara Advani. He also has Aashiqui 3 in the lineup.
Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon is part of Rhea Kapoor's The Crew. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Diljit Dosanjh. Kriti also has Adipurush, directed by Om Raut. Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan are part of the project.
