New Delhi: Musician Amaal Mallik, who made his singing debut with O Khuda in Hero, hopes that his voice is appreciated by the audience.
Amaal made his debut in the film industry as a composer with Salman Khan's Jai Ho in 2014 and has churned out chartbusters like Naina and Chaar Shanivaar.
"Salman sir always wanted the song to be larger than life, yet personal. The song is composed and sung by me. It is mainly about the tune and lyrics. It is a very simply orchestrated, but grand composition," said Amaal.
"I have kept it soft and melodious which works for the theme of the film. It has been a pleasure to debut as a singer and I hope that my voice is loved by the masses," Amaal said in a statement. (Also Read: )
Hero, which has been co-produced by Salman Khan, features Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty. The film is scheduled to release on September 11.
