New Delhi:
The first poster of Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur's film OK Jaanu is finally out. Set against the backdrop of Mumbai's Marine Drive, Aditya and Shraddha invoke Aashiqui 2, their film from 2013. OK Jaanu, co-produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Madras Talkies jointly, is a remake of Mani Ratnam's 2015 Tamil blockbuster OK Kanmani, starring Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menon. Karan shared the poster along with message for all Shraddha and Aditya's fans.

The story of OK Jaanu revolves around a young couple who are in a live-in relationship as they do not believe in the institution of marriage. How they deal with the relationship is the main crux of the story. The film marks Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur's second project together. Last seen together in 2013's Aashiqui 2, expectations are high from both the actors.
This cryptic tweet, posted on Thursday, makes us believe the makers have another treat in store for fans.
Shaad Ali of Saathiya fame has directed the film and the music has been composed by A R Rahman, while the lyrics have been written by Gulzar.
Saathiya, featuring Rani Mukerji and Vivek Oberoi, was also a remake of a Tamil film, Alaipayuthey.
Shraddha Kapoor last appeared in Rock On 2 with Farhan Akhtar and Aditya Roy Kapur was last seen in a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt's Dear Zindagi.
