British actress Olivia Morris posted a shout out on the Oscar nomination for RRR song Naatu Naatu. Olivia played Jenny, literally the only British character in RRR who isn't racist and terrible; Jenny is also the love interest of Bheem, played by actor Jr NTR. After the Oscar nominations were announced on Tuesday evening, Olivia shared a still of herself from RRR adding that filming Naatu Naatu was what she enjoyed most while making the movie. She singled out RRR director SS Rajamouli and composer MM Keeravaani for praise in her post. Naatu Naatu will compete for Best Original Song at the Oscars in March.
In her post, Olivia Morris wrote, "Me right now. The Naatu Naatu sequence was by far my favourite thing to work on in RRR and it was only made possible by the incredible SS Rajamouli and MM Keeravaani. To see Naatu Naatu being nominated for best original song at the Oscar's and winning at the Golden Globes is such a huge and wonderful thing. So grateful to have been a part of this epic film."

RRR is set in the pre-independent India of the 1920s and is the fictional tale of two real life freedom fighters, Alluri Sitaramraju and Komaram Bheem, played by Ram Charan and Jr NTR. In the course of events, the two leads find time for the spectacular dance battle that is Naatu Naatu in which no British participants are left standing. It boils down to Raju versus Bheem with the former throwing the dance-off in the latter's favour because he sees Jenny watching.
Naatu Naatu won the Golden Globe for Best Original Song this month and will be the favourite to win at the Oscars where two Indian documentaries, All That Breathes and The Elephant Whisperers, are also nominated.
