Richa Chadda is all praises for Omung Kumar
Mumbai:
Actress Richa Chadda, who sports a traditional look in the upcoming film Sarbjit, says Omung Kumar is the 'most meticulous' director she has worked with.
Sarbjit is a biopic on Sarabjit Singh, the Indian prisoner who died in a prison in Pakistan.
In the biopic on his life, Richa plays the protagonist's wife Sukhpreet Kaur.
The actress wrote on Twitter:
Omung Kumar, who earlier directed Mary Kom, responded with this tweet:
Hey Richa, thank you so much for all your hard work."
The director also shared the first look of Richa's character from the film. She is seen wearing a bright coloured salwar suit, bangles and jewellery.
Actor Randeep Hooda plays Sarabjit in the film, which will be narrated through the perspective of the victim's sister Dalbir Kaur, played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Sarbjit opens on May 19.
