New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan is a very, very busy star. At 75 today, he has various projects in the pipeline and currently hosts the ninth season of popular reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati. Big B will present his unique comic drama 102 Not Outthis year while Thugs Of Hindostan is scheduled to release later in 2018. Mr Bachchan also features in a cameo in Akshay Kumar's Padman, which is also set to release next year in April. Wait, wait. The film list isn't complete yet. Big B will feature in a pivotal role in Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's Brahmastra and is also expected to star in Aankhen 2.

102 Not Out- The Umesh Shukla-directed film stars Big B and Rishi Kapoor in lead and very interesting roles. It casts Big B as a 102-year-old father while Mr Kapoor plays his 75-year-old son. The two stars have almost collaborated after three years for a film. 102 Not Out went on floors last May and is slated to release this year in December.
Thugs Of Hindostan- Here's one of the most-awaited films of 2018, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Zaira Wasim. Big B and Aamir have already shot two schedules of the film and from their social media updates, we assume it promises to be an action-packed film, shot extensively in Malta. Thugs Of Hindostan is directed by Aamir's Dhoom 3 maker Vijay Krishna Acharya and releases on November 7, 2018.
Padman- This Akshay Kumar's film stars Big B in a cameo. He shot for the film some months ago and ahead of filming Padman, he posted an update on his official blog. "I work tomorrow... A shoot for R. Balki for the film he does with Akshay Kumar. A special appearance for a few minutes," wrote Big B. Padman, based on entrepreneur Arunachalam Muruganantham, is produced by Twinkle Khanna and arrives in the theatres on April 13, 2018.
Brahmastra- Amitabh Bachchan co-stars with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in a Dharma Productions' film, earlier titled Dragon. Details about Big B's role hasn't been disclosed as of yet while Alia and Ranbir are expected to begin filming soon. Brahmastra is a trilogy and the first part will release on August 15, 2019.
Aankhen 2- The film will be a sequel to Big B's 2002 film Aankhen and expected cast will be Ileana D'Cruz, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and Arjun Rampal, who was also part of the first film. Aankhen 2 will be directed by Anees Bazmee.
