Janmashtami is all about regaling loved ones with stories from mythology, gorging on sweets and dressing up the kids in the family in the garb of Lord Krishna. And it looks like things were no different in Kunal Kemmu's home when he was a child. We say this because the actor shared a lovely note on what the festival means to him and the wave of nostalgia that hits him on the occasion. In the note, he said that the festival brought back memories of the fun activities he indulged in, as a child. The actor paired the sweet note with a throwback image of himself dressed as Lord Krishna.
In the note he shared on Instagram, he wrote, “Janmashtami brings back old memories of 'pot breaking' by forming a human pyramid! This picture takes me back to those days... I wish for Lord Krishna's joy and innocence to give you faith and strength to brave every obstacle in life.”
Dressed in a beige dhoti with a beaded necklace and a matching crown, a young Kunal Kemmu looked adorable. Also, do not miss the flute in his tiny hands. Did we say cute, yet?
The actor, who is married to actress Soha Ali Khan, got a sweet comment from his sister-in-law, designer Saba Ali Khan. She wrote, “You're adorable! Happy Janmashtmi...To you and your loved ones.”
If that image made you smile, we have more. Kunal Kemmu was not alone in taking a walk down memory lane on the special day. Actor Pulkit Samrat, too, shared a throwback photo of himself dressed up as Lord Krishna as a child, on Instagram. He wrote, “The one with the Raas Leela.”
Fans seemed to love the post and dropped several heart-eye emojis in the comment section.
In terms of work, Pulkit Samrat was last seen in the film Taish in 2020. He will be seen next in Suswagatam Khushamadeed. Kunal Kemmu, on the other hand, appeared last in the 2020 film Lootcase. He also made his web series debut last year with the show Abhay.
