On Sonam Kapoor's Birthday, a Khoobsurat Old Pic From Dad Anil

New Delhi: Actress Sonam Kapoor, 31 on Thursday, received a special birthday wish from father Anil Kapoor, who Instagrammed an old picture of himself and Sonam as a little girl, taken at one of her birthday parties.

There's a story behind why Mr Kapoor is holding his little daughter in his arms - then a busy actor, he arrived late for the party and had to make up for it for fear of upsetting tiny Sonam.


 

 

You know, I can't remember which movie I was shooting that year, but I do remember @kapoor.sunita murderous look when I walked in late for your Birthday party! I tried to make up for it by carrying you around in my arms all night, trying to prove to Sunita (and to myself) that I was an attentive father! I was so afraid of upsetting you until it struck me that you hadn't even realized that I'd been missing for most of the evening!  Sonam also posed for shutterbugs outside her home in Mumbai looking summery in a white maxi dress.

Sonam Kapoor was last seen in Neerja, in which she played the role of Pan Am chief purser Neerja Bhanot. She has not signed a new project so far.

Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor starred in films like Welcome Back and Dil Dhadakne Do in 2015. He will soon be seen in the second season of TV series 24.
