New Delhi:
Social media has been beside itself waiting for the release of the trailer of Salman Khan's new film Bajrangi Bhaijaan and the 49-year-old actor promised in an early morning tweet that it would be revealed Thursday night.
Several hashtags have trended on Twitter over the last two days heralding the arrival of the trailer. The thrill of anticipation reached a crescendo this morning with #BajrangiBhaijaanRevealSoon trending. Salman's fan clubs swamped his Twitter account begging him to reveal what time the trailer would be launched.
The countdown has begun and #BBTeaserTonight began trending within minutes of Salman's announcement.
Salman, who told a Jodhpur court weeks ago that he was both Muslim and Hindu, also had another announcement to make
Last night, the actor tweet-thanked fellow Khans Shah Rukh and Aamir for revealing the semi-first look of Bajrangi Bhaijaan on Twitter on Tuesday. Salman and SRK renewed a suspended friendship only six months ago.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan, directed by Kabir Khan and co-starring Kareena Kapoor, is believed to be an inter-faith love story and will release on Eid this July, also the month when the High Court will begin hearing Salman's appeal in the hit-and-run case in which he was handed a five-year jail term by a Sessions Court in Mumbai.
