Media mogul Oprah Winfrey says her iconic career wouldn't have been possible if she had become a mother, reports contactmusic.com.
Spanning over three decades, the 60 year-old thrived as a talk show host, actress, producer and the CEO of the TV channel OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network).
"I could not have had the life or the career in the way that I had it if I'd chosen to have children," said Oprah.
Talking about her long-time partner Stedman Graham, she said "As we grow together, as we get older together, he has become a more affirming and more loving part of my life than he's ever been."
Oprah Winfrey, who stopped hosting her own talk show in 2011, was shared her views with host Barbara Walters on the show Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2014.
Meanwhile, Oprah doesn't miss working on set every day.
"I don't miss that because you know you're only as good as the last show. You're always chasing the numbers. And this is the thing, the 25 years are a blur to me because I just worked," she said.
