The 86th annual Oscar Awards will take place on March 2, 2014, the Academy has announced.
The next year's Academy award process will begin from November 16, 2013 with the Governors award. Nominations voting will begin on December 27, 2013 with the nominations being announced on January 16, 2014.
The awards next year have been delayed because of the Winter Olympics which are set to run from February 7, 2014 through February 23, 2014 according to Variety.
2014 Super Bowl will begin on February 2, 2014 which saw the Grammys moving to January 26, 2014 - forcing Academy Awards to push into March.
