The 94th Academy Awards will always remain (in)famous for Will Smith and Chris Rock's episode. However, that wasn't the only big moment to remember the award night by. Three Hollywood legends made us an offer that we just couldn't refuse - The Godfather reunion celebrating 50 years of the iconic film. The Godfather director Francis Ford Coppola, accompanied by Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, said during the ceremony, "I feel moments like this should be sincere and brief, and I'm so grateful for my wonderful friends to come here to help me celebrate with you."
The Godfather was the first installment of the trilogy, which focused on the journeys of patriarch Vito Corleone (Marlon Brando) and his reluctant son Michael (Al Pacino), who finds himself tangled in the mafia world. The film acquired a cult status and remains a fan favourite even today. Robert De Niro, who reportedly auditioned to play Michael in the first film, was cast as the younger version of Vito Corleone in the second installment of the film, which won him the Oscar for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in 1974.
Francis Ford Coppola added during the ceremony, "This project that we began 50 years ago with really the most extraordinary collaborators, many of them legends and so many of them that I can't take the time to list them all, but you know them all well. So I'm going to only thank two from the bottom of my heart," he said thanking Mario Puzo, author of The Godfather novels, and late producer Robert Evans.

Another film reunion that took place at this year's Oscars was that of Pulp Fiction stars Samuel L Jackson, John Travolta, and Uma Thurman. They brought back the mysterious briefcase from the film, which contained the envelope holding the name of the winner for Best Actor (Will Smith for King Richard ). Uma Thurman and John Travolta did the famous dance routine. "Maybe later we'll have a $5 milkshake," Uma Thurman joked. "How about a royale with cheese?" John Travolta added. To say it like they said in the movie, with these three on stage, nothing could break our concentration.
At the 94th Academy Awards, CODA won Best picture, Will Smith won Best Actor for King Richard, Jesssica Chastain won Best Actress for The Eyes of Tammy Faye and Jane Campion won Best Director for The Power of the Dog.
