New Delhi:

The 95th Academy Awards were everything we had hoped for - desi representation and victories - check, blockbuster performances - check, red carpet hits - totally and thankfully no slapgate situation, thanks to the Academy's "crisis team" this year. Amid all this, Twitter users (surprisingly) found another reason to celebrate a small moment at the Oscars this year - Jessica Chastain, who won the Best Actress Oscar for The Eyes of Tammy Faye last year, was pictured wearing a face mask during the ceremony. While the actress wore a mask for most part of the award show, she made her red carpet appearance and arrived on stage sans a mask. A section of the Internet praised the actress for being masked during the show. See some of the tweets here:

"Jessica Chastain even if not actually using it effectively enough... still wearing a mask at all... does get that little appreciation bump from me," read a tweet.

Here's another tweet:

"Jessica Chastain - one of the most intelligent celebrities at the Oscars tonight. Thank you for wearing a mask," another Twitter user wrote.

"Ok I was excited Jessica Chastain wore a mask but then she took it off when she was presenting so really it was all for useless show, since I doubt the ventilation on there was so spectacular. Guess we'll see if her Doll's House understudy goes on next week," wrote a Twitter user.

The 95th Academy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, were held in Los Angeles' Dolby Theatre. Everything Everywhere All At Once won all the major awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress. Bonus - the award night also included a blockbuster Naatu Naatu performance by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaalabhairava. Rihanna and Lady Gaga also ruled the stage.
