The owner of the boat Kuber, which was used in the Mumbai terror attacks in 2008 has served a notice to Ram Gopal Varma for using the boat's name and its registration in his film about the dreaded attacks.
Hiralal Masani, the owner of the boat, has said that the movie should not be released. Ram Gopal Varma's film The Attacks of 26/11 is based on the 2008 terror attacks during which 10 Pakistani terrorists used the boat to reach the shores of Mumbai.
Masani said that using the name of the boat would mar his reputation. He added that it was only yesterday that he realised that the boat's name was being used in the movie. Ram Gopal Varma remained unavailable for comments.
