Manjot will play Pulkit Samrat's best friend in the film

Actor Manjot Singh, who became popular with Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, has been roped in to essay a role in Fukrey.
Pulkit Samrat and Richa Chadda play the lead in the movie, while Manjot will play Pulkit's best friend, Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment, confirmed in a statement issued on Thursday.
Manjot had played the character of young Lucky in Dibakar Banerjee's Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!. The 20-year-old had won the Filmfare critics award for best actor in 2009.
Set for 2013 release, Fukrey will see Pulkit sporting a new look. He will be seen romancing Richa, who has made her mark with Gangs Of Wasseypur.
