New Delhi:
Tamil superstar Rajinikanth received the Padma Vibhushan and actress Priyanka Chopra received the Padma Shri in a ceremony in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Rajinikanth, dressed in traditional attire, received the Padma Vibhushan from President Pranab Mukherjee.

The Padma Awards were handed out in two separate ceremonies. Actors Ajay Devgn and Anupam Kher and filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar received their Padma Awards from President Pranab Mukherjee on March 28.
Filmmaker Nila Madhab Panda, known for films like I Am Kalam and Kaun Kitne Paani Mein , also received the Padma Shri.
