Indian model-turned-TV host Padma Lakshmi is facing a custody challenge from the reportedfather of her baby daughter.
Venture capitalist Adam Dell, brother of computer magnate Michael Dell, filed papers in a New York court on Tuesday demanding visitation rights to see Lakshmi's 11-month-old daughter Krishna Thea, reported TMZ.
Dell is currently allowed to see the tot nine days a month as part of an unofficial deal in place until February 20 this year when the little girl turns 12 months old.
The Top Chef presenter, who has never confirmed the child's paternity, has reportedly attempted to make a new custody agreement with Dell but their negotiations fellthrough.
Lakshmi, 40, who divorced famed author Salman Rushdie in 2007, went public with her romance with US billionaire Teddy Forstmann in May last year.
