Pakistani singer Atif Aslam'sconcert in the city, scheduled on Saturday (November 23, 2013), has been postponed.Two days ago Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) had protestedagainst the concert.
Deputy Commissioner of Police M L Ninama said theorganisers submitted an application to Naranpura policestation informing about the postponement. The new date was notinformed.
VHP has demanded cancellation of the event, pointingout that a Pakistani court recently imposed restrictions onscreening of Indian films in that country.
