Former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson has launched her own car racing team.
The 44-year-old model-actress founded the Downforce 1 team earlier this month with the aim of participating in the2013 open-wheel Nascar series.
The blonde Formula 1 fan is thrilled about getting to know her new motor sport pals, reported Contactmusic.
"These gentleman have achieved the impossible and built up a team in just four months so I cannot wait to see my carson the racetrack... it's hard to believe until I see it. Look for us in white and blue - my signature colour," she said.
Anderson isn't the first celebrity to buy her own race team. Socialite Paris Hilton co-founded the SuperMartxe VipMotoGP team in 2010.
