Mumbai:
Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra is unhappy with the rumours that she is going to feature in director Farah Khan's next film.
Parineeti and Alia Bhatt were reported to have been cast by Farah in her next project. Before Yash Raj Films released their statement that Anushka Sharma will feature in Sultan, reports suggested that Parineeti would be cast opposite Salman Khan in the film. "I am just sad. And so is Farah. Every single film that is being announced somehow has my name in it. I don't know why. I think it is because I am not shooting right now. So, people think that this must be the film on which she is working now. I am just tired of that. I want people to wait and let me announce when I am ready," said Parineeti.
Parineeti made her debut in 2011 with Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl. She was last seen in 2014's Kill Dil.
"Last year, I wanted to take a break. I bought a house and needed a lot of time to set it. It was a big project in my life. I spent six months doing the house and working on myself. Then I was reading a lot of scripts. But the year just ended. Now I am finally ready. I'll announce it soon," added Parineeti.
The 27-year-old actress, however, has not ruled out the possibility of doing a television show if she likes the content.
"I would love to do television. If some amazing show comes my way, I think I could be good with it. I love to talk and love people. So, both the things will be positive for me. I would love to be on TV. But, it has to be a good show," said Parineeti.
