Socialite Paris Hilton hasexpressed her sympathies for friend Brooke Mueller, ex-wife ofCharlie Sheen, who is struggling to overcome substance abuseproblems.
Mueller, 33, is filming for Hilton's new reality showThe World According to Paris at the time and the hotelheiress says it is difficult to watch her friend suffer,reported Aceshowbiz.
"You know, it was a lot of things going on during thatwhole Charlie thing during the show and I think she was goingthrough a lot," Hilton said on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.Mueller has turned to professionals to help herovercome drug addiction.
"Right now she's in treatment and I'm wishing her thebest. She's going through a lot. It has been hard to see. It'sdefinitely been something that she has been struggling withsince her teen years and it's a daily struggle," said Hilton.
