Los Angeles:
Stuntman Cody Walker has reportedly been approached to film his brother Paul Walker's final scenes in the seventh Fast and Furious installment.
According to reports, the 25-year-old stunt actor has been asked to film Paul's final scenes and help conclude his journey in the upcoming movie, reported Aceshowbiz.
"They can shoot Cody from behind and at distance and if it's a shot they need Paul's face in close up they can CGI it later on. If Cody agrees it's because he wants to honor his brother's memory. There are many details that still need to be worked out, but right now the family and cast and crew are all still grieving," a source said.
Paul, 40, died in a fiery single-car accident with his friend Roger Rodas. Production for the movie is currently put on hold as the script will be re-written.
It's unclear if Universal will stick to the original release date on July 11, 2014, but filming reportedly could resume in January. His co-stars are still mourning his death. Vin Diesel recalled how he broke down in front of his co-star's family.
"I thought they needed my strength but realized when I got there and broke down before his family, that it was I who needed theirs. His mother hugged me and said I am so sorry. I said sorry? You're the mother who lost a son? She said yes, but you lost your other half."
