A representative of Telugu film star Pawan Kalyan's Fans Association sustained injuries after an unidentified person allegedly attacked him for failing to obtain entry tickets to the music launch event of the actor's film, police said.
The incident occurred outside a hall in Madhapur area where the music launch of Telugu film Gopala Gopala, which features Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh, was scheduled, informed Madhapur police station Inspector K Narsimulu.
"The unidentified man asked the actor's fan K Srinivas for tickets for an entry to the event. However, it seems he refused saying as he too needed tickets for his friends. Apparently, angered over the refusal, the man allegedly attacked Srinivas either with a knife or blade on his neck," he said. The attacker fled from the spot after the incident, he added.
