It's why people are so obsessed with music."
The 22-year-old beauty also admitted to being an observer, drawing ideas from everyday life to fuel her music. She explained to MTV News: "I really tend to draw inspiration from my life and from the characters in my life. And it's just kind of for me something I've always loved doing, watching life play out and kind of making a song out of that."
Taylor sings fans a story through Red, from breaking up with a lover to the moment when you have to 'Begin Again', adding: "It's why I write most of my songs about emotions and feelings and relationship issues because that's what confuses us most in life.
