The makers of Drishyam 2, starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav held a special screening on Thursday night in Mumbai. The screening was attended by Ajay Devgn's wife and actor Kajol, Sohail Khan, Shriya Saran's husband Andrei Koscheev, Sharvari Wagh, Vidyut Jammwal, Ishita Dutta's husband and actor Vatsal Sheth, Harshvarrdhan Kapoor, Sonal Chauhan, filmmaker Aanand L Rai and film producer Anand Pandit among others. Ajay Devgn and Kajol, who were twinning and winning in black, posed together for the cameras. Kajol wore a beautiful black saree, while Ajay Devgn sported a casual look. Tabu looked pretty in a green dress. Shriya Saran looked gorgeous in a red saree, while her husband sported an all-white look.

Drishaym 2, directed by Abhishek Pathak, is the official Hindi remake of Mohanlal's 2021 film of the same title. sees the entry of Akshaye Khanna as Inspector General Tarun Ahlawat, who will investigate the murder case once again. Whereas, Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav reprise their role from their 2015 film Drishyam.
The film will release in theaters on November 18.
On the work front, Ajay Devgn was recently seen in the film Thank God, co-starring Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh.
Meanwhile, Kajol is gearing up for the release of her film Salaam Venky. The film, directed by actor-filmmaker Revathy, also stars Vishal Jethwa in the lead role. The film is set to hit the theaters on December 9.
